Good news for steel-fans: The Aktarus "Slacker" bar has holes to reduce the weight - the facts:
Material: CrMo 4130 multibutted
Wide: 680mm
Rise: 85mm
Backsweep: 8"
Upsweep: 6"
Weight: 400g
Colors: raw or black
Price: ca. 70 Euro



The Sequencefab stem would fit this bar, the shortest version (26mm) weighs only 168g - we write about it in August 2007.



The MacMahone crank "Reign" is now available in white - as 170 and 175mm version.



Last but not least: Bicycle Union has got a new pivotal seat.

Marzocchi 2009

Orme publishs the first pictures of the 2009s Marzocchi forks. It works with the new 15mm-axle-system of Shimano (1670g), but there is still a normal QR version (1620g). Travel can be adjusted step by step (140, 120 and 100mm) or steplessly (140-100mm) via ATA. There is no information considering to the old problems of ATA, but Marzocchi does a lite step towards the future! The public can see the fork on 4.4.2008, so maybe the name is "44".

Tune Bobo / Felt / Eastern

Tune has a new lite headset called "Bobo". It weighs real 80,2g including "GumGum" claw, which is a kind of silicone rubber consist (only 8,5g), as well as carbon cap, which weighs only 4,9g with screw. There is also a semi-integrated version with 65g complete. Price: 111 Euro.



Felt has got a new pivotal in stock; Eastern Bikes offeres the "Pinner" seat (292g), known from the complete bikes like Nighttrain.
